Privacy

This page explains what information www.newparkinglaws.co.uk collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, use the contact form.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we keep what you type: your message and, if you give them, your name and email address. We use them only to read and reply to your message. They are stored on our own server, are not shared with anyone, and are deleted when they are no longer needed.

To stop the form being misused, our server briefly counts how many messages arrive from each internet (IP) address. Your IP address is not saved with your message.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard logs of each request: the IP address, the browser type, the page asked for, the page you came from, and the date and time. We use them to keep the site secure and working. They are not used to identify you.

Search

The site search runs inside your own browser: your search words are not sent to a search company. They do appear in the page address (for example /search/?q=appeal), so they are recorded in the server logs like any other page request.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies. Some of the advertising described below may set cookies in your browser.

Advertising

The site shows advertisements served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to measure how well ads work. They may receive your IP address when an ad is shown.

We have no access to, or control over, the cookies used by advertisers.

Links to other websites

Many pages link to council and government websites. Their privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
